Morocco This was Morocco's first ever World Cup Finals tournament, and they acquitted themselves well. I have it on good authority that they were the first 'arab and african' country to qualify for the World Cup finals! In their first match in Group D they found themselves 1-0 up at half-time to West Germany, only to lose 2-1. They then lost 3-0 to Peru, before salvaging some pride with a 1-1 draw with Bulgaria.
